Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation increases bus fares across multiple categories.

Jaipur, Aug 5 The Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) has officially announced an increase in bus fares across its government-operated fleet, effective from Tuesday midnight.

RSRTC Chairperson Shubha Singh confirmed that this fare revision aligns with the state government’s recent notification.

The updated fare structure indicates that ordinary bus fares will increase by 10 paise per kilometer per passenger. For semi-deluxe buses, the fare will rise by 12 paise, while deluxe (non-AC) services will see an increase of 15 paise.

Additionally, air-conditioned buses will also experience a 15-paise hike, and air-conditioned super luxury services will now cost 20 paise more per kilometer.

Following the implementation of these revised fares, the new per-kilometer rates will be as follows: ordinary buses will charge 95 paise, semi-deluxe buses will cost Rs 1.10, deluxe (non-AC) buses will be priced at Rs 1.25, air-conditioned services will be Rs 1.80, and super luxury air-conditioned services will now cost Rs 2.10 per kilometer per passenger.
