PAC constable dies, colleague injured in Gorakhpur road accident.

Gorakhpur (UP), Sep 1 – A tragic accident claimed the life of a 27-year-old PAC constable, Abhishek Dubey, who was stationed at the Gorakhnath temple. The incident occurred on Monday morning when Dubey and his colleague, PRD jawan Markandey, were involved in a motorcycle accident after hitting a divider.

The accident took place around 9:30 a.m. near Mahaveer Chapra in the Belipar police station area of Gorakhpur district. Dubey, who was attached to the 30th PAC battalion in Gonda, had left his home on his motorcycle when Markandey joined him on the route.

Witnesses reported that the motorcycle’s accelerator became stuck, causing it to speed onto the divider. Both men were thrown off the vehicle as a result of the impact. Local residents quickly came to their aid and notified the police.

Vishal Singh, the SHO of Belipar police station, arrived at the scene shortly after the accident. He noted that Dubey was conscious but in significant pain, repeatedly requesting water. Emergency responders transported him to the district hospital, where doctors diagnosed him with lung damage and recommended that he be transferred to BRD Medical College. Unfortunately, Dubey succumbed to his injuries before the transfer could take place.

Abhishek Dubey’s father, Ashwini Dubey, serves as an inspector with the UP Police in Shravasti district. His elder brother, Sonu, resides in their village. Abhishek had recently married in May of this year.

The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination, and further investigations into the accident are ongoing.
