Gurugram: Class 10 student dies by suicide after receiving low marks, jumps from 19th floor.

Gurugram, Sep 24 – A tragic incident occurred when a 15-year-old class 10 student, Aashman Kumar, allegedly took his own life by jumping from the balcony of his 19th-floor residence in Ramprastha City Society, located in Sector 37D. The police reported that his body was discovered on the society campus at approximately 11 PM on Tuesday.

Aashman, a student at a private school, had recently completed his half-yearly examinations and was reportedly feeling distressed over his low academic performance. On the evening of the incident, his father, who works as a store manager, inquired about his son’s quiet demeanor, prompting Aashman to share his feelings of sadness.

Following this conversation, family members retired to their rooms, and Aashman climbed over the balcony railing, subsequently jumping to the ground below. The sound of his fall alerted nearby residents and security personnel, who quickly rushed to the scene.

Emergency responders transported the teenager to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Inspector Yogesh Kumar, the Station House Officer at Sector 10 Police Station, stated that the cause of the suicide has not yet been determined, and no suicide note was found at the scene. Investigations are ongoing to ascertain whether Aashman was experiencing mental stress, family issues, or other pressures. Police are currently interviewing family members and friends to gather more information.
