Four family members died when a trailer collided with their tempo in Beawar, Rajasthan.

Jaipur, Oct 23 – A tragic accident on the Beawar-Masuda road in Rajasthan’s Ajmer district resulted in the deaths of a couple and their two minor children. The incident occurred on Thursday when a speeding trailer collided head-on with a tempo carrying the family.

The collision took place near Kheempura Ghat as the family was en route to the woman’s parental home to celebrate Bhai Dooj. According to police reports, the tempo was completely crushed due to the severity of the impact caused by the trailer, which was traveling from the opposite direction.

The deceased have been identified as Raju Katha, aged 35, his wife Poonam, aged 33, and their daughters Heena, aged 13, and Aalisha, aged 11. All were residents of Govindpura on Sendra Road. The couple’s two younger sons, Sahil, aged 9, and Lucky, aged 6, sustained serious injuries and were promptly taken to a hospital for treatment.

The driver of the trailer fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle. Authorities have registered a case against the absconding driver and are actively working to locate him. The bodies of the deceased have been placed in the mortuary for postmortem examination.
