PM and Shah to hold public rallies in Bihar ahead of upcoming elections on Friday.

Patna, Oct 24 Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are set to hold separate public rallies across poll-bound Bihar on Friday.

The Prime Minister will conduct two rallies in the Samastipur and Begusarai districts, while Amit Shah will engage in rallies in Siwan and Buxar. Prior to his rally in Samastipur, PM Modi will pay a visit to Karpurigram, the birthplace of the late Karpoori Thakur, a socialist icon and former Chief Minister of Bihar, who was posthumously awarded the Bharat Ratna by the NDA government last year.

Niraj Kumar, spokesperson for the BJP’s Bihar unit, stated, “Four mega public rallies, which will be addressed by the PM and Shah in different parts of the state on Friday, will energise the BJP. The party is fully prepared for the assembly polls.”

The 243-member Bihar Assembly elections are scheduled to take place in two phases on November 6 and 11, with the results expected to be announced on November 14.

Tejashwi Yadav, the RJD leader and declared chief ministerial candidate for the ‘Mahagathbandhan’, will also commence his campaign on Friday with three consecutive rallies, concluding with an event in Samastipur district in north Bihar.

On Thursday, BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda addressed election meetings in Aurangabad and Vaishali districts, while Chief Minister Nitish Kumar held at least four rallies in various locations throughout the state.
