Tejashwi vows a corruption-free government in Bihar if the INDIA bloc wins power.

Patna, Oct 24 – Tejashwi Yadav, the chief ministerial candidate for the INDIA bloc in the upcoming Bihar assembly polls, has committed to establishing a corruption-free government if elected. The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader emphasized his dedication to addressing the grievances of the people, ensuring access to affordable medicines, and creating job opportunities.

During a press interaction in Patna, Yadav stated, “If the INDIA bloc comes to power in Bihar, as a CM, I will ensure there will be no crime. I will present a government that will be corruption-free.” His remarks reflect the opposition alliance’s strategy to project unity and resolve internal disputes ahead of the elections.

On Thursday, the INDIA bloc officially announced Yadav as its chief ministerial candidate, marking a significant step in their campaign efforts. Senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot, who has been in Patna since Wednesday to mediate among the opposition factions, indicated that if the INDIA bloc secures victory, Mukesh Sahni, the chief of the Vikassheel Insan Party (VIP), along with other leaders from diverse social backgrounds, will be appointed as deputy chief ministers. This decision aims to acknowledge and represent the complex social structure of Bihar.
