Bengaluru theatres witnessed a significant turnout for the opening day of ‘Kantara: Chapter 1,’ featuring Rishab Shetty. This film serves as a prequel to the acclaimed 2022 release ‘Kantara,’ which focused on folklore themes.

Audience reactions on the first day indicated high expectations for the film, with some viewers expressing hopes for award recognition. Nandeesh from Vasanthapura remarked that the film possesses the potential to secure major awards. Meanwhile, Rajesh from Konanakunte praised the movie as the “pride of Karnataka.”

‘Kantara: Chapter 1,’ which is both written and directed by Rishab Shetty, has been released in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and English.
